Collaborating with the Executive Director, board, key consultants and community partners on marketing strategy.
Working with work with the Executive Director to create email and social media communications; Drafting press releases;
Maintaining our website and other marketing assets;
Promoting the museum’s exhibits and public programming.
Managing daily communication with patrons and program participants.
Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing.
Working closely with the sales and marketing department.
Creating marketing materials such as white papers, case studies, and presentations.
Maintaining a marketing database.
Preparing, formatting and editing a range of documents.
Understanding museum’s programming and brand.
General office duties.
Providing administrative support to the Executive Director and board.
Coordinating the museum’s programming calendar and acting as a liaison for artists and program participants. Coordinating the museum’s social media calendar.
Coordinating the Executive Director’s calendar.
Creating and interpreting a variety of reports.
Organizing market research.
Analyzing questionnaires and other forms of feedback.
Updating social media accounts.
The Marketing and Administrative Coordinator position is a part time position reporting to the Executive Director.
Annual Salary range: $20,000 to $25,000 depending on experience.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
Administration or sales and marketing assistant experience.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
A high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good organization skills.
Related job and internship experience.
